General Rules :

  • LIT-LIVAZA 2020 is organized by the Department of English, Sona College of Arts and Science, Salem-5.
  • Spot registration is available between 8.30 am and 9.45 am.
  • Registration fee is Rs. 150/-, for a participant, to take part in an event.
  • Money must be paid only in person.
  • Participant’s college ID card is mandatory
  • Lunch will be provided to the participants
  • The decision of the Juries will be final
  • Winners & Runners of every event will be given a trophy and a certificate
  • Overall winner trophy will be given on the basis of group score
  • Participation certificate will be provided to all the participants
  • Students must not indulge in any malpractices. If so, it would lead to disqualification.

ART FROM WASTE

  1. Limitation : 2 members from college.
  2. Duration : 60 minuites.
  3. Participants are asked to bring their own scraps.

  1. Limitation : 2 person per college
  2. Duration: 60 minutes
  3. Topic : Contemperory social issues.
  4. Participants must bring the necessary materials.

ACRYLIC VISAGE [FACE PAINTING]

  1. Limitations : 2 teams per college.
  2. Duration : 45 minutes.
  3. Topic : Marine.
  4. Participants should bring their own painting materials.

EXTEMPORE

  1. Limitations: solo performance [2 members per college].
  2. Duration: 1 minute for preparation and 2 minutes for speech.
  3. Topic: extempore
  4. Participants must bring the necessary items.

CAMP GRAPHY [ PHOTOGRAPHY]

  1. Limitations: 2 teams per college, 2 members per team.
  2. Duration: 45 minutes.
  3. Topic: Nature.
  4. Participants must bring necessary electronic gadgets.
  5. Photos should be captured only within the Sona campus.
  6. Participants must restrict the photo collection to 5 in number.

STORY WRITING

  1. Limitations: 3 members per college [individual participation].
  2. Duration: 60 minutes.
  3. Participants are expected to develop a story out of the given picture.
  4. Pictures will be projected.
  5. Participants must bring their own stationery.


POSTER MAKING

  1. Limitation : 2 teams per college/ 2 members per team
  2. Duration: 90 minutes.
  3. Topic: Female insecurity.
  4. Participants are asked to bring their required materials.


ON STAGE EVENTS

NEWS REPORT (SOLO EVENT)

  1. Limitations: 3 members per college.
  2. Duration: 2 minutes.
  3. Theme: video clip will be given on the spot.




MIME SHOW

  1. Limitation: 5-6 members per team.
  2. Duration: 8 minutes.
  3. Theme: open topic.




GROUP DANCE

  1. Limitation: 2 teams per college/5-10 members per team.
  2. Duration: 5-10 minutes.
  3. Theme: old songs with new steps / new songs with old steps.
  4. Properties can be used.
  5. Usage of rubbish words, playing vulgar music and awkward dance steps would lead to the disqualification of the team.

AD-ZAP

  1. Limitations: 2 teams per college/ 6-10 members per team.
  2. Duration: 7-10 minutes.
  3. The performance is expected to be modest and cultured.
  4. Participants are requested to submit their background music in a pen drive in MP3 format during the registration.
  5. Theme: Participant’s own choice.

ADAPT TUNES (SOLO EVENT)

  1. Limitation: 2 participants per college.
  2. Duration: 3 minutes.
  3. Theme: The music will be played on the spot and the participants should adapt themselves to the tunes and dance.
  4. Redundancy of dance steps should be avoided.
